I recently relocated to the east side of Sacramento and would like to ask if anyone who might have more figs on their tree(s) than they will eat or preserve to contact me if they are willing to let me pick them.

As children, my wife and I had access to fig trees that seemed to produce bountifully every year but one would have been hard pressed to persuade me to eat them.

Now, we regularly have conversations about what we were missing out on by not taking advantage of those trees.

The wisdom of age I guess.
