| My 3 potted blueberry bushes have tons of new leaf growth, but the leaves are turning red, and not the seasonal Autumn color. I looked it up and it is similar to "citrus thrips", but I noticed on previous posts, it is suggested to check the soil. I planted them each in a large container and used the organic acid based soil as recommended by the nursery. I also have a Meyer's Dwarf in a container planted about 15 feet away. The weather in Sacramento is hot, so I know that cool soil is not the problem. I've been watering them every day (when the temp is above 95) for a short time, and every other day (when the temp is lower) for a longer time. I am a totally new gardener and I'm finding this very frustrating! |

| Sounds like they are growing well so this may not be serious. If the leaves don't fall off early it's probably not serious. Hard to tell without a picture. Blueberries are often frustrating to me after 11 yrs. If you make a crop next yr you can be proud of the accomplishment!! |
