I grow a lot of labrusca grapes. That to me looks like a problem I wouldn't worry about. John S PDX OR |

I'm certainly no grape expert, but I'm with skyjs...for this time of year (though we don't know your growing zone) those vines look fabulous to me. I wouldn't fret over that one bit. That first pic is mostly insect damage BTW.

alright I'll take your word for it, I've used a copper spray a few times just as precaution, but it is super late in the season.

jordan.. its fall ... leaves fall off ... there is NOTHING to do about ugly leaves.. in fall .. and as the plant shuts them down.. all kinds of things go after them .... but it really isnt something you need be proactive about .... days are shorter.. soon to be cooler.. plants are shutting down ... in theory.. the season is over ... so dont waste product.. and dont poison mother earth ... in the sense of doing it for no real reason ... prevention is a different issue ... in a different season .... ken

this happened about a month ago, I think this has nothing to do with fall, I would just like to see if someone who's worked with grapes a lot can give me a proper diagnosis. Downey mildew?

Thank you everyone for the responses! over-all the grapes have grown abundantly, I just have been wanting to find out if someone can pinpoint what this is. This has nothing to with the Fall as this starting occurring over a month ago. I'm just concerned to as if I should take any necessary precautions.
