Hello, first time poster here, although I've often read advice on your fab forum. I've been given a Haas Avocado tree, which is about 3' tall right now in a pot. I'd love to plant it, but due to living smack dab in the middle of Los Angeles, I've only got a normal size house and yard. So I'm wondering if the roots of the tree would mess with the sidewalk, pipes, etc? I know it can get big, and a shade tree would be lovely, but I don't want to have it crumble any walls or anything, lol! Also, I only have the one tree, so do I really need another type to cross-pollinate? And lastly, if you guys say that it shouldn't go in my yard, then how big of a pot would I need to keep it as a potted plant, to get any fruit? Thanks so much!
