Looking for cold hardy fruits to grow in my back yard!

David,

If you are really in zone 9, most fruit would grow in your yard without protection except for tropical fruit. Your definiton of cold hardy may be different from what I understand.

Yeah, mamuang, David you must be looking for sub-tropicals?

Start with the following website:
http://www.crfg.org/pubs/fl/A.html

That list has cultural data for many hundreds of species, and you'll notice that only a few of them are too tender for zone 9 (things like mango, coconut, pineapple, breadfruit, etc.)
