Hello, was wondering if anyone could help? We bought a lemon tree in the summer and have recently found strange markings on the fruits and leaves. Can't seem to upload 2 photos so will just say we found a few tiny black bugs with long spindly legs on the leaves and a few shiny/ waxy looking spots where they may have been. Is anyone able to diagnose this or perhaps put our minds at ease that the tree is fine? Thank you 😊

A seedling lemon I'm guessing? The big thorns look like this was planted from a seed. I have virtually no experience with citrus, but to me the foliage looks fine. The marks on the fruit I have seen the same on supermarket lemons. I don't think you have anything to worry about and depending on what zone your in I know my seedling lemons and limes tend to get somewhat rattier looking foliage this time of year. Looks like it's inside so I'm guessing insecticide/fungicide applications are out of the question?

I see some drops of what look like honeydew and a couple of what look like they might be scale insects, that secrete honeydew.
