Is Jonagold ripe yet?

| Mine don't seem to want too come off the tree yet. Shouldn't they be ripe by now? |

| They just don't want to come off the tree. they taste alright. We had a Noreaster and none of them fell off the tree from the wind. The Granny Smiths came off. |

| We picked ours at the end of Sept and they were pretty ripe, certainly better than the 1st pick about 2 weeks earlier. Next year I'll wait until late Sept. To even consider picking the 1st time. Still learning. |

| Forgot to mention, at the early pick, the fruit had only slight signs of red stripes, at the late pick there was far more red color. Not what I expected. |

| Mine are just starting to come off the tree. They are quite tart still, strange. My Goldrush are coming off the tree and taste ready. |
