'weber' persimmon

Does anyone on here grow 'weber' persimmon and be able to tell me anything about this native variety, especially flavorwise? I know it is an early ripening clone and am aware of what Edible Landscaping has to say in their catalog concerning but would love to hear from others who are either growing it or have seen and tasted it.

I have one Weber persimmon on my tree, the first of this variety, unripe, and with two sets of baby tooth marks in it. My one year old and I were harvesting persimmon in the garden when she bit into this low hanging one. Luckily, I stopped her before she could taste the astringency. But the fate of the persimmon is uncertain - I'll let you know if it ripens and I get a chance to taste it.
