Got a Nikita's Gift persimmon with a few fruit on it. They are all pretty much orange. How do I know when to pick them?

Thanks

Wait till they get red. That's the right time. The original name is Nikitskaja Bordovaja (Nikita's Bordeaux).

You can pick them red but let them soft before you eat them because they are astringent.
