My big jim tree has flowers. Last year nothing. They seem to be a little bit early. Thats ok, when I do get fruit, it sure is good.

Your 'Big Jim' is pretty much normal and on schedule. You should see some flower stalks and buds forming right about now. Your foliage looks nice and lush -- should be a nice crop for you next year.

The last time it fruited I lost a branch due to the weight.

Here is a full view. It is six feet tall. I read the page suggested, and learned they can be alternate year bearing. That is a passiflora in the background and a tangerine beside it. Tight fit.
