I want a bradford pear tree, but it will get too big for my yard.
they have a dwarf version called "jack" flowering pear, but i cannot get my hands on it. Only wholesalers have it and will not ship or sale to the public.
An orchard in philidelphia has sold it in the past but will not have it next year. They do have other flowering pears but not the small 'jack" version i want. I heard that they will graft for you.

So my question is, is it possible to graft the bradford pear tree on to a dwarf root stock to keep it small?
Should i ask them to do it?

please advise, i really want this tree!
If it is kept small, then how will the shape be and how large will it get?
