Is there a place where I could find information relating to the which droplet size is best for different chemicals and which nozzle type to use. There are so many and I find it hard to figure out which to use when, where and for what.

I also assume that depending of the sprayer type (hand pressure pump vs. electric pump) and tank pressures different nozzles would be recommended.

I am trying to figure out which would work best for those of us that use either the 1-5 gallon hand pressurized sprayers or the smaller ATV mounted 15-25 gallon sprayers .

Thanx,
Mike

RE: Re: Sprayer Nozzle Tips-Patterns

I've never seen a nozzle for chemical other maternal in chemical fix in tank. I use flat fan stainless 110 degree fan in trees and blackberries the 110 covers foliage fast. Higher up tree I use straight steam on adjustable cone nozzle like comes most hand sprayers and ATV types. When had 225 peach trees after got large used gas powered pressured washer 2600 psi in Kawasaki mule 3010 with ATV tank in little truck body Mule I could spray all 225 trees in 45 minutes and would blown moths out trees as sprayed it was fun not let one escape. In early morning spray tall pecan trees to top. Oil sprays use 20 to 40 degree flat fan. The ATV 12V sprayer do all for small tree need if tank fill do trees, seedling hand sprayer pump is good. You Google Teejet find info on sprayer tips droplets
