| For the first time, my medlar trees have a good crop with very few split fruit. But I am not sure just when to pick them. I know that they are picked hard and then allowed to soften, but is there an ideal time when to pick them hard? |

| I would pick them right before the first hard frost. Some years I would forget and they would blet on the tree so I could eat them right off the tree in January. Scott |
