I think that's a little frost damage.

Not frost damage...it has been injured by something for quiet a long time.

Yes, I mean spring frost damage.

It's not frost damage.

I've seen this type of damage caused by thrips when the fruit is pea size or smaller. Just one bite when the fruit is small develops into a big scar at harvest.

It does look like an old scar. The damage has grown like a butterfly tattoo while young growing into a buzzard later in life.
