| Has anyone had success growing boysenberries or loganberries in Zone 6 (without laying them down and insulating them)?
I live about 30 miles south of St. Louis Missouri. I've been told my grandpa grew boyseberries back in the 1940s in Cape Girardeau, but that's about 80 miles south of here. My dad says they were way better than any blackberry he ever tasted. I've never had one, but I love blackberries, raspberries, and any other semi-tart/sweet berry. |

| Indeed I agree with your grandpa that they the boysenberries are better than any blackberry I've had. Had quite a few varieties as well. My one son always made fun of me about buying plants until he tasted one of my boysenberries. His exact words were "What are they and when can we get more" |

| Thanks for your follow up! Where do you grow them successfully? What is your Zone and state, if you don't mind me asking? I'm really curious if they will overwinter here in Missouri (south of St. Louis) successfully. |
