| Hi Folks, I thought to share this: This summer I transplanted a few young Raspberry canes , a few inches tall ,from their original bed to a new location hoping to get more fruit next year, now they are about 5 feet tall and loaded with big berries and plenty of flowers too. No bad for 53rd North. This is how they looked like today: |

| Nice picture. My hot summer weather pretty much eliminates me from growing most Raspberries. Its not all bad because Blackberries thrive in our weather. |
|
| Champs you could try bababerry they should grow there in some shade. Bay Laurel now sells them. I know these grow in San Diego, if they can grow there, you should be able to grow them. My raspberries look sad about right now.. |

| Hey Drew, my other two raspberry's beds look like yours minus the snow. That's why I am a little surprised to see the transplants doing so well so late in the season. |
|
| I guess they are named correctly! A friend is growing them here too. I need another yard for more. |
