Peach trees with buds

Hello,
I was planning to move some of my peach trees late this fall before the ground freezes. I live in zone six and on Sunday I noticed that the trees have swelling buds on them. I do not think that is normal but maybe I am wrong. Should I avoid moving them because of this?

Please share with me any thoughts or suggestions you have about this.

Best,
Jay

Jay:

The fruit buds on peach this time of year can be fat enough that they might look swollen. If they are actually swollen then your crop is toast whether you move the trees or not. But I've never had peach or nectarine actually swell at this time. Probably it's an "optical illusion".
