another pic, where i pruned back

Looks like fall leaves and normal fungi getting started on the decomp process to me.

Fireblight always looked like someone took a blowtorch to the sides of the leaves to me, though thankfully it generally isn't very happy here.

Except they have had black spots since June. I was sure the limb I pruned half off had FB, was stereotypical jet black and curled. I was just wondering if that cracking of the branch meant I had not pruned enough off
