Virus Alert

I just received an email supposedly through the gardenweb website asking for cuttings of two patented varieties of nectarines that I supposedly have. I don't even grow these varieties. The person did not say who they were, but said they had 500 varieties that they could trade. The email also had a lot of misspelled words, as if it had been sent from overseas.
If you should receive a similar email PLEASE do not respond, as this is either a malignant virus or someone trying to trap you into trading patented varieties.

I received the same message. I told the person exactly what you said above; I did not have them and would not send them even if I did.

The English is poor and my guess is it's coming from out of the U.S.
