| I have a concord peach tree. Planted in June 2012. It 's 4.5 feet tall. Pretty nice branching and leafing.... 3.5 foot diameter. Well the lower leaves turned yellow and fell off a few months ago. The top new leaves are showing chlorosis...light green with dark green veins. It has plenty of nutrients. The only thing I can think is that the ground is a little on the hard side. I put a nice ring of compost and cedar mulch around it when it was planted in June. I tested the ph about 9 inches from the trunk in the mulch area 4 inches down. It read neutral...7. That doesnt mean much to me. Our soil testing at the labs read 6.8 naturally. What should I do?. I 'm thinking compost it heavily this fall.....or compost tea....? Please help what is wrong with my peach tree? |
