I thought I would post some of my fabulous fruit photos of
2013 crop. Unfortunately one of my daughters deleted them all by accident from the digital camera. Perhaps next year.

At my local grocery store I just purchased some Comice and Concorde pears. I am familiar with Comice but Concorde was new to me. It had a very firm texture but
was one of the sweetest pears I have ever eaten except for
Seckel.

Since I like my ripe pears to be firm but sweet, this variety
really got me excited. I see on the internet that it is a cross
of Conference and Comice. Has anyone had good results
growing it in the Midwest? Hate to plant one if it will not
do well in SE Wisconsin.
