| I searched the forum and the net but did not find credible information about this "Meader" blueberry variety . I will be very grateful If any one who grows this variety shares his knowledge. Taste, time of ripening, scar and how it will handle transport. Thank you! |

| I've had one for over 12 years. It fruits mid June for me in Zone 6-- beginning as early as June 14 or late as June 22 and lasts several weeks--about the same time as Blue Jay or Patriot. The bush is significantly shorter than the adjacent high bush types like BJ, Patriot, Chandler or Blue Crop, and the berry size smaller than average. The taste is good, similar to most of the others mentioned. I can't tell you about transport; mine are home grown only. |
