HI IHAVE A CREAPER IN MY GARDEN ITS FLOWER LOOKS JUST LIKE A PASSSION FRUIT FLOWER BUT THE FRUIT DOESNT TASTE ANYTHING AT ALL LIKE IT. WHAT COULD IT BE IS IT EDIBLE .IF THIS VARIETY CAN GROW HERE CAN THE EDIBLE TYPE ALSO GROW HERE IE QUETTA BALOCHISTAN PAKISTAN THANKS

Also post it on the Passiflora Forum. They're real aficionados there.

There are so many passion species and many interspecific hybrids, only a few have really tasty fruit, but I'm not aware of any that are toxic. Passiflora edulis is the common edible one, but is pretty much tropical or subtropical. P. incarnata, P. incense, P. caerulea, are more cold hardy. With most passifloras, pollination is complicated, and some will only produce edible fruit when cross-pollinated by some particular species. I'm sure you can find some type of passion fruit to grow where you are.
