Overwintering mandarine Page

Heya, I am in N. Texas, zone 7-8, and the forecast is saying we might get cold temps in low 30's. I just bought two mandarine trees in containers and I am pondering on how to prepare them for the winter. Any kind of advice as to should I keep it in container or plant in the ground, etc. is appreciated!

I have one that I want to plant out. This year though I kept it in the container and brought it inside the house. I will plant it out in the spring. That way it will have time to get established before it sees any cold weather.

Can you ask the nurseryman at the store that sold you citrus trees in North Texas in November? I'm in California and only buy citrus in late Winter or early spring, so I can't advise other than to return for a refund.
