I don't know but being in such a small pot is not very good for the tree that is for sure. It looks terrible!

What I don't understand is all the serration on the leaves - neither peaches nor cots have that. I would guess plum cross from those, and the elongated tip has something to do with how the plum genes affect the tip on apricot leaves (they have a little concave tip on them, unlike plum/peach).

If this turns out to be a plum x apricot cross, my best guess is that it got pollinated by my mariposa plum since they are only 25 feet apart.

Definitely looks like a hybrid, but that's about as much as I would venture to say...

I have three mariposa plum seedlings, and just like my hybrid, they have an enlogated tip. Based on these observations, I conclude that my apricot hybrid pollen parent is my mariposa plum.
