| Does this tree looks like a peach x apricot hybrid, or like a new apricot sport? The tree is 8 months old, five feet tall, and it already has flower buds. About 6 years ago, the same mother apricot tree produced a seedling which appeared to be half peach. The leaves were oval-eliptical, they had the resemblance of that of a peach, and they were 7 inches long by two inches wide. Sadly, the tree died four months later. |

| I don't know but being in such a small pot is not very good for the tree that is for sure. It looks terrible! |

| What I don't understand is all the serration on the leaves - neither peaches nor cots have that. I would guess plum cross from those, and the elongated tip has something to do with how the plum genes affect the tip on apricot leaves (they have a little concave tip on them, unlike plum/peach).
