| my 3 year old trees are maybe 9-10 ft tall, very skinny, & still growing. i'm wondering how i'm going to havest the fruit at the top of the tree. can i just cut them off at 6' each year, maybe they'll develop some side branches?
thanks, |

| Some varieties tend to grow skinny from what I understand. You can certainly prune it to about 6'. It should send new shoots and have a better frame. Bass |

| I keep all my jujubes 8' tall. As Bass states, some of them want to just grow straight up. They have slowly widened over the years. Scott |

| I also need to decide how to or if to trim several jujubes. I have about a year to decide. How do they grow when that dominent or singulat leader is cut at 8 feet? Do they send out a new leader, or mainly grow the horizontal laterals out? Thanks |
