I have a Moonglow pear tree that is about 7 years old now. It bloom a little this spring but no sign of fruit. Just realized that the Moonglow is a Barlett type pear. I have an Orient Pear and an Shinsheki Asian Pear. My neighbor has Kiefler pear trees. Will any of theses pear trees pollinate the Moonglow?

I had a few blooms on my Moonglow limb this spring and one pear developed. You will most likely get the cross pollination that the Moonglow needs from what you have. This spring check and make sure you have some bloom overlap. Hand pollination is an option if insects aren't getting the job done. Good luck, Bill

I would think your ok. Here in Dallas kieffers bloom about 3/15, harrow sweet about 3/22, Asians 3/22-4/1. As 2010 says, any overlap works.

All 3 will work IF any bloom at the same time as the Moonglow.
