Apple Root Stock for West Central Wisconsin

I am planning on starting a small orchard (about 1 acre) on property I own in West Central WI. Not sure on root stock to choose: Zone is 4a, the soil is sandy, I don't live on site - about 2 hours away, no irrigation, will water on weekends and use 5 gallon bucket drip. Based on the cold temps, wind and droughts that can occur I am thinking about going with B.118 root stock. Your thoughts please. Thanks!
