Winter Storm Dallas

The 3 U-bolt shaped trees are 1 year old apple trees, 6-8' tall before the icestorm. Rain/Ice is still falling

Those trees look pretty stressed, but the wood is young and pliable, so they might recover when the weather improves. Good grief!

Bob,

You can defoliate the tree to reduce the weigh so they won't snap. No ice here but too cold at -1F tonight.
