| Hi, I live in Sacramento, CA. In our yard we have a Craigs Crimson Cherry tree (self-fruitful). We just purchased a Royal Rainier Cherry tree and we're told the Crimson cherry will pollinate the Royal Rainier. Will the Crimson cherry pollinate the Royal Rainier? Thank you. |

| I did a search using "Crimson cherry pollinate Royal Rainier? site:edu" -- no quotes -- but became tired of reading the fine print. (perhaps you can try it.) May not be in the lists if a newer variety. You might call your county's Extension Service office to ask. They will know what works for your area. | Chances are high that CC will pollinate RR. In general all the self fruitful varieties are good pollinators for other cherries. |
