What fruit to plant in large whiskey barrel planter? Limes maybe?

I am trying to figure out what type of fruit I can plant in a 17″ H x 24″ W x 24″ L wooden whiskey barrel planter in Florida. The barrel is in intense sunlight throughout the day. I was considering a lime tree, but I do not know how that will fair. If anyone has some recommendations or other thoughts, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Citrus does well in containers. Whiskey barrel will probably all apart in 4-5 years, but I guess you could use that as an excuse to trim roots/pot up at that point....

I think I am going to go with a lime. My grandma has a huge fig tree so I have plenty of figs. Blueberries are my least favorite berries. Never heard of a mulberry before. Some quick googling makes me think it will taste like a more tart blackberry?
