| Hi Everyone, I grew an avocado from seed four years ago and after it grew more than 15 feet tall I donated it to Stanford University-- where I live and work. It was planted in the ground about 500 feet from where I live on campus and in similar light conditions. Expectedly, the tree went into shock after the planting, but with water and care it came back and looked good after a day. Two weeks later it has started to wilt (see picture). I assumed it was water stress and gave it a good drink and waited for it to bounce back-- no luck. I should add that it has been fairly cold here and recently dipped below freezing. Any help would be appreciated. Best, Chase |

| Well, below freezing can do that to an avocado. Watch and wait to see what happens next while making certain the rootball is neither soggy or dry. |
