| I have apples and peaches coming, apricots too, on bare root stock at the end of the year. Super cold weather has the ground frozen even though it is a nice southern exposure. Can I heel them in if I insulate them well in my unheated pole barn, keeping them mostly in the dark? |

| I planted my bareroot trees in pots, watered them, wrapped the pots in a plastic bag, and put them in an unheated shed. It worked fine, but that was in northern VA, not CO. |
