Latest Faux Bois Project...(for kbecalamity)...

Hi Group,
Been a while since I've had a chance to drop in, but I just added a long series of "How-To" progress pix to one of my Yahoo albums that some of you may have an interest in. Several folks here inquired about the processes involved in costructing ferro-concrete Faux Bois furniture and the photos of this 8-foot long patio table and pair of small benches should provide a pretty thorough documentation of of the steps involved.

See the album titled "8-Foot Table"(was originally to be 9-foot!).

Hope 2006 is going well for everyone so far and all had a marvelous holiday season. I was working Christmas day on this (hopefully) soon-to-be-completed project myself. And I had a great time. Cheers to all.

This is extremely cool. I love your 3 legged stool. How hard, actually is it to make? You make it look easy, but I bet it's not!

Yeow! And I thought was a concrete nut! Can you tell us more about the faux bois stuff? The pics in the album are pretty amazing and I'd love to learn more about it since you seem willing to share. I'm brand new here and looking for any kind of art projects or info about making things out of concrete. Any ideas on where to look?
Thanx in advance.
