I've been working with Stained glass on glass. This is a small piece I did for a neighber.

love the striking colors, very pretty.
did you grout it? and if you did was it in the frame at the time, I am working on a piece, I have glued on all the glass but I took it out of the frame before I glue the glass on and now I have to put it back together and grout (i think). hope mine looks as good as yours.

Luddy,
Don't you just love my typo...neighber...I can spell, most of the time...neighbor!
Anyhooo,
Yes, it's grouted...with light green grout. And I don't like to grout...hate it actually.
With this piece I marked off the frame line, then taped that line off. Did my design, grouted, let almost dry, then pulled the tape off. This is not perfect...but best method of grouting as close to frame as possible. Hid my blanks with caulk on reverse side. This isn't perfect, but best "test method", I've done so far. If there's a better way...wish someone would post it!

I just thought you were from the south and wanted to let me know you are. Sometimes I do spell check so people don't think im strange. but sometimes who cares.

thank you for the info about the glass on glass, I hate grouting too, but glueing on the glass is like doing a puzzle but you have something to show for it. its fun too, theraputic. I will try your technique on my glass on glass.
I have a greenhouse business so I will put it on display there when and If it get it grouted. I will post it here when it is done.

You could possibly use the black grout in a squeeze tube by Gallery Glass at the craft store. It is made for painting on old glass storm windows etc for making faux stained glass. I have made about 20 Victorian windows over the past 10 or so years. The grout looks very realistic and dries hard to a plastic texture.
