Accidental pattern

In course of making something else, I glued a disc of thick rubber to the underside of slab of Plaster of Paris. I dabbed the glue here and there and rotated the two surfaces to and fro a bit to spread the glue around.

When it has served its purpose, I peeled the rubber disc off. I was surprised to see that the disc (with the glue still attached, coated with plaster of Paris) looked like this.

I can't help feeling that the pattern's worth preserving: but I can't imagine what I'd decorate with it.

Any ideas?

Herb, I don't know what you could make out of it. It is kind of cool though, it reminds me of ghosties!

Joy,

After thinking about it, I think, if I win a big lottery prize, I'll have somebody reproduce the pattern as tiles. They might be O.K. surrounding a bath, or as a kitchen countertop.........

Reminds of the Matisse of dancing figures...
A mosaic tabletop maybe?

WOW!!!

I would love to see it made of metal and inserted into the center of a garden gate entry!

Modern art! Frame it, and it'll make a good conversation piece.
