I love the wings. It must have taken a bit of time. Is that just a regular floor tile. Is it finished? If I may, a smokey border would soften the edge. Of course, its beautiful as it is and I love art in the garden. what kind of paint?
It is a 4 X 4 wall tile. I thought it would look good on a back splash. But you are right it would look better with a smokey border, might have to try that. I use china paint and then fire it in my kiln, that makes it permanent it can not be scratched off. I use a picture of a real dragonfly to try and get the detail of the wing. thank you for looking at my work.
That would look fantastic on a back splash. The wings are like a beautiful mosaic. I dont know why I thought it was a floor tile. My hubby and I put up wall tile in our bathroom shower a few years ago. You inspire~ Thank you for sharing!
