Mnature, Thanks for putting the link to my pics here and for sharing the Atlanta link! Lunaflora, Thanks for the compliments on the pictures. They really can't capture the awesome beauty of his work. I see you're from Washington. Have you ever had a chance to meet Dale Chihuly at any of his exhibits? Rhonda

Although I did visit there last summer and loved it, I'm from Mississippi. I learned about Chihuly from you, Rhonda. Is'nt Garden Web great? I'm always looking for garden/art related items for my webpage.

Oh, I mis-read. Lunaflora is from Washington. Disregard above message.

Im from Florida: Saw the Chihully exhibit in Orlando. I have been involved in art all my life and find I don't get impressed as easy, but when I saw his exhibit it blew my socks off. I want to try and get back to see it again while its still in Orlando. Thanks for the pictures. Anyone wanting to see more of the work check out his web site www.Chihuly.com. It's extensive.

Chihuly's work is truly mind-blowing. If the stunning use of color and three-dimensional shape don't get you stirring, the sheer scale and volume of some of his works will. When visiting the Belagio Hotel in Las Vegas, I was impressed by the ceiling in the lounge—it's literally covered in hundreds of Chihuly's blown glass flowers making up the light fixtures...absolutely gorgeous. I have several Chihuly books...and I could stare at them all day... Chihuly rocks!
