You have forced us to see the elegance of the hellebore (which often looks a little papery). V e r y nice. How about a few more flower portraits?

Hi Bernadette,
I just have to say I love your work. My favourites are 'Tree', 'Leaves', 'Mossy trees', and 'Helleborus'. I also love all your portraits. You are very talented.
Cheers,
Dee.

Aw, thanks to you both :-) I have to agree about the papery look of the hellebore - they are just beautiful when they start blooming, especially if you lift the bloom and look inside, but as soon as the seeds begin to form they lose their vivid colour. I will hopefully be making more flower drawings in the future but at the moment I have to get started on a commission for someone featuring trees, so it'll be a while.
Dee, my ego is having a little bask - Thankyou SO much :-))

Thanks Sheryl_Ontario! - Having enjoyed looking at your beautiful art (the birds and water are particularly well-captured) on several occasions I'll take your comment as a very big compliment. :-)

Bernadette
