| I just found this gallery, so I thought I would post some of my art, too. This is a drawing of Papaver somniferum. (Corn Poppy) I'm not going to claim it as being botanically accurate; it was loosely based on a transfer pattern I found in a book, so not drawn from life.
The top reads: "Papaver 12-22-05" It's a photograph rather than a scan, but I tried to align it in the frame properly.

| A correction: the Corn Poppy is Papaver rhoeas... Papaver somniferum is the Opium Poppy! And they say latin names are easier.... lol So it's PAPAVER RHOEAS. |
