Painted logs, rocks and patio stones

These are some of the things I've painted and set out in the garden. The first one I kinda played with in Picasa.

Very pretty. They'd be nice to see in the garden in winter! What kind of paint did you use, and did you varnish them - could you leave them outside over winter?

Thanks Paul, but it's hard to see them in the winter garden, under all that snow. I used the acrylic Patio paints, which are for outdoors, and an acrylic outdoor shellac. I left the patio stones out, and the rock, this winter only. The stones are starting to show the wear, and are fading a bit. Most years I put them in the shed for the winters.

Yes, I saw an article on Lin Wellford a few years ago and went out and bought her book. I love it!
