shadowgarden, Your paperweight is gorgeous! How did you make it? I wonder if one could be used outdoors.

I am a glassblower. This paperwight was made by taking leftover bits of colored glass and encasing them in molten glass. Then the whole form was shaped in a moist wooden block. In this weight I made dents by poking the form with a tool. When I was done after cooling the piece enough to set it it was slowly cooled in an annealer for about eight hours. Yes it could stay outside. The picture comes out about 150% actual size on my nmonitor.
