very nice

thanks for posting it.

My neighbors have a couple bulldogs. At the end of their sunken garden is a bench. As you get closer to the bench you realize the bench is held up by two bulldog faces. Cracks me up everytime I walk down that sunken garden.

I was browsing on-line and found a photo of a gorgeous cement bench a fellow had constructed out of 4-2'x2' paving stones, 6 cinder blocks and about 4 sprinkler protector shields. Each piece is inexpensive, made out of cement and purchased at a home improvement store. It looked like an piece you would find at an upscale nursery or garden furnishings store. I'm on my way to Home Depot to get the materials for my front yard garden. I'll post a picture when it's done and installed.

Hi,
I was wondering if this project ever got done? With the materials from Home Depot?

I love that stone bird, Wendy. Thanks for posting that image.
Katespade, did you make your bench?
