Mosaic step

Hello
Here is a pic of the mosaic I did to cover up the front of an ugly concrete step that leads to the pool deck. I used pea gravel, 2 colors of blue glass beads, and clear liquid nails.
I used the blue glass to kind of represent water. I think it looks much better than the big chunk of concrete sticking out of the ground. |

| Nice job, love the enhancement of the colored gems. Really a nice touch. |

| Lovely! The plantings look great too. Did you have to lay flat on the ground to do that? |

| Thanks, and yes I did have to lay down to be able to do it comfortably. The tricky part was getting back up. At the ripe old age of 32, I sometimes feel like i'm 82, lol. |

| Very cool idea for what must have been unsightly. Easy, cheap, and fabulous-looking! Oh, and can you tell me how you were able to put your photos right on your posting? I can't seem to do it myself. Thanks, Cynthia |

Thanks everybody. Cynthia, Do you use Photobucket? It is a website that "holds your pictures for you". Under the photo, there will be a line marked TAG. Just cut and paste that right into the body of your post. It's very simple. |
