I said we love to see your work, ALL of it.
Did you read what I said correctly? I LOVE
to see anything you do, whether it is
directly related to gardens or not, like
the beach house one. |

Thank you Anne. Yes I read your posting correctly, and I really appreciate it, but unfortunately (for me) there are others New to the forum which do not, so I think it is time for me, being of the older posters (from the beginning of the forum)to step aside and let the newer posters take it from here.
I will come back from time to time to check on how things are going.
Did not mean to ruffle any feathers.

Hey, sweetheart, you got to learn to take
it on the chin whether in a forum or real
life. Email about my site is not always
wonderful, like sometimes it's...."hey stupid, quit this
stuff and get back in the kitchen" Most folks are lovely and encouraging, and I let
that be my guide, not the negative ones who
have nothing better to do than discourage others. That last scan you sent me of your painting is a gorgeous
natural garden. Why don't you post that one,
and keep on helping us out here? Yes, you were one of the very first here and therefore
a valuable asset we cannot afford to lose.

I haven't been over here since it first open. How long has it been, almost 2 years? I would like to see some of your paintings. Do you have a web page? I'll check out your profile.
I think some of the mosaics that the people over in the garden junk forum really belong here with what I think is more of a art than using junk. I stopped posting over there because it seems just to be mostly what's being bought at thrift stores and not in a garden yet. Then again it's winter. I have boxes and boxes of paints so maybe you'll inspire me to try something. The only thing I ever painted was a sceene of a butterfly life cycle with the heads cut out. They were large enough for some faces to poke through at a nature center festival. I know idea what ever happened to it. |

| I've no idea what might've instigated the feeling you should move elsewhere - I guess reading back over some threads might show the answer but I just wanted to add that when I saw your postings in earlier days I enjoyed them so it really would be a shame if you took them elsewhere. They relate to "the garden" so I expect they fit here really well. I take it that this gallery is for "art" in various forms - be it sketching, painting, sculptural or digital imaging - so long as it relates to "the garden". I hope you stick around - this seems to be a very "quiet" forum really and if those who are interested continue to post regularly maybe we can build it up some over time. |
