What to do with 22' standing tree trunk

Hi Everyone, This may seem silly but I really am serious. Last year a strong wind came through and snapped off the entire top of a gorgeous pine tree in my front yard. This left me with a 22' (apx) standing trunk (no branches), which I cannot bear take down.
I live in eastern WA on a river and lots of birds use the trunk to perch, and I have also attached several cute bird houses to it so it would still be useful, but I am wondering if there is something I can do to make this tall standing trunk into something a little more attractive. I was thinking maybe there is some sort of wide plant or tree that I could place in a pot on top of this tall trunk to make it look like a tree again. Or maybe something fanciful like topping it with some kind of palm frons Of course whatever it is ,it would have to withstand cold winters with snow and natural perception for water (or be fake).
Has anyone ever done something like this? I'd really love to keep the tree trunk if I can make it a little more appealing to look at.
Thanks for any ideas you may have :-)

How about carving it into something beautiful?

A neighbor of mine has a simular situation and topped it off in an very interesting way. She bought some strong nylon netting and made a large, long tube, stuffed it with moss wrapped it around the trunk, securing it and planted it with a variety of annuals. It really is beautiful.

you could put a table top on it and make some matching stolls or chairs for it. How tall is it?

I have seen where someone carved out the inside of the stump and made it into a planter by planting sweet potatoes vines and flowers.

I just made a table top for a friend with a concrete disk and mosaic for a stump he had.

The suggestion of carving it into something beautiful was a good one too.

why not grow some kind of vine up it?
like wisteria, or jasmine, or morning glory!

Shorten it to 16 feet and place a waggon wheel on top of it an grow a a rambler rose like this Rosa arvensis ayrshire splendens up the tree trunk and let the canes cascade down. Also plant clematis montana "Rubens" for a superb spring show before the rose blooms and some viticella Clematis for a late summer finale.:
