This is an acrylic painting I did of a couple of my blooming Miltoniopsis orchids several years ago. I love this type of orchids in particular because of their lovely 'faces'.

Wonderful Deanne! It is so neat to see the same type of flower painted in the different mediums. I like them both very much, the vibrance of the acrylic and the softness of the wc. VERY nice...

Hi Deanne,
Its beautiful. I also love the way you paint roses. You are definatly one very talented lady. You have been my favorite floral decorative artist for quite some time now.

Thanks everyone for the lovely feedback!!!So happy you like the painting. It was a lot of fun for me to paint these orchids because I worked from my own plants that I'd gotten to blooom.

Dory, thank you! Have we met before? Maybe in a class somewhere? I've taught in CT quite a bit over the years. So happy you like the roses. Did you get to look at the springtime frangrance painting posted here? It is my newest piece and turned out pretty nice. There is a pink and white rose I think you'd like in that painting.

Thanks again,
Deanne
