Magnolia Bud

I am compiling a florilegium of the plants and flowers in my garden...in bud. All are botanically correct. Drawn to scale, colors mixed to match exactly. It is fascinating to see the contrast in scale. The magnolia bud I didnt realize how large it was until I painted the Meidlien(?) rose in bud. They hang, for the sheer drama, side by side.
