Northeast Blizzard of 2006: A Movie

I document the growth of my trees in "A Tree Grower's Diary," but this time I went for a walk during a snowstorm (to church last Sunday morning), with my camera in hand. The photographs were so beautiful that I decided to put them together with some music. The first slide is of a huge Purple European Beech tree down at Borough Hall. The last two are my dogwood. I can see spring lurking.

The movie takes a while to load. You might want to click the link, then go get some coffee!

P.S. About 15 people ultimately made it to church. On a normal Sunday, the place would have been full!

Here is a link that might be useful: Blizzard of 2006

Thaks for the movie. We live in Poughkeepsie so only had about 6 inches that day.
